Description
Bilbao's Marqués del Puerto Street presented this flagship store with a puzzle: 190 sqm filled with structural concrete pillars in a 40x40 grid. Instead of hiding the brutalist reality, they leaned into it. The result reads like a dystopian hangar where nature fights back—each pillar gets wrapped in large planters that double as furniture, while fluorescent tubes create uneven lighting that bounces off stainless steel and LED screens. The perimeter stays industrial and raw, but fitting rooms offer velvet and bouclé wool refuges in chocolate brown. Custom travertine door handles and suspended speakers show the studio's attention to detail even in this deliberately rough environment. The space turns architectural constraint into retail opportunity, creating Nude Project's largest store to date. Previous installations stay exposed and neutral-toned while new elements remain in their natural state.
