Description
Barcelona's Eixample district gets another PJ. Lobster optical-boutique, this time inside an early 20th-century building with serious bones. Four grand stone arches frame the space and house custom stainless-steel shelving that's both structural and sculptural. The walls wear bluish-gray lime mortar—a quiet reference to the neighborhood's blue-blood history. Silver travertine floors ground the space while tubular steel furniture keeps everything clean and cohesive. The former fruit store now operates at 5-meter ceiling heights, with a central pillar organizing the layout into four distinct zones. Custom pieces like the precise Munt 330 stools and the signature Blong side table add character without cluttering the vision. This is high-tech retail that respects its architectural context while pushing PJ. Lobster's expansion forward.
